geen golf2 in Oz?

Heren, ff n algemene vraag. Ik heb net 3000 km langs de aussie kust afgelegd en geen enkele golf 2 gezien. Heb er speciaal op gelet want ik wilde mn aussie collega's laten zien welke wagen ik heb. Wel veel luchtgekoeld en enkele zuinig opgepoetste golfjes 1... ook de nieuwere modellen zie je wel af en toe, maar dus niet 'de mijne'...
Ligt t aan mij of zijn deze hier gewoon nooit geimporteerd?
