What I do like: keeping it as original as possible. What I don't like: changing it into something it never was. I like the first wheels! Last wheels not so much: never cared much for gold anyway. Which game reserve is that gate of in your first page? Were you planning on racing a cheetah? Or is it just the gate of your company...

hey guys, yes tjaap it was in the readers ride section, sorry i have not been on the forum for a while, however the motor is almost done.what i can say is that it is a 2.0 16 valve abf with throttle bodies and a few other bits and bobs.momo to answer you as to how lets just say it was worth the money and to find one like it will take alot of time and effort.i assure you that the end result will be a fairly good motor.i would have loved to put an 8 valve however im a little power hungry and love to drive than show.will definately update on the motor build with some pics.

Hi Dado

thank you for the kind words, wow your mk2 is amazing, one of the best ive ever seen it just screams perfect! the schmidts are 8J Front 9J rear 195/45/14 225/40/14 rear, not as wide as yours but almost.the will soon be accompanied by a set of BBS RS's in 16 inch form, hope to show you them, will post sum pics.as for the motor it will definately be done by jan 2010,ive gone 8 valve instead of 16valve,never thought that a cam cover would make me change my mind however it has.its the schrick cam cover as the one seen on marco haegers famous car,an extremely rare find in this part of the world.hopefully it will all come together as im getting tired of this project.
