In de James Bond serie is (natuurlijk) de befaamde Aston Martin DB5 gebruikt. Onlangs is er 1 van de orginele 4 in de film gebruikte auto's geveild.

wat info over de geveilde auto in kwestie;

Het verhaal gaat dat 2 van de auto's zijn aangekleed met de snufjes en 2 in originele staat zijn gehouden om de overige scene's mee te filmen.

1 auto met snufjes in geveild voor 2,6 miljoen Engelse ponden, de andere auto staat in NL! Namelijk in het Louwman museum in Den Haag. Fantastisch museum...

1 van de 2 originele DB5 is later in de film Golden Eye nogmaals gebruikt. Deze was in prive bezit en is kort hierop gestolen.

De laatste van de 4 weet ik niets over.

Wat ik al een tijdje zoek qua Convoy: de versie van het titelnummer zoals in de film gebruikt. De enige die ik iedere keer tegenkom is die waarop de film gebaseerd is.

de Ferarri Testarossa van Miami Vice schijnt nog steeds te bestaan,en staat nu hier:

this car is currently housed at the Swap Shop, a flea market in Plantation, FL (i think it was Plantation, it was one of those cities down there west of ft lauderdale)

i saw it there in 2004

21-05-2010:
I just visited my Cousin in Plantation and was at the a.m. Swap Market and I can confirm that the white Testarossa still is there on display

Er was ook destijds een serie op tv met een truck, met achterin zijn eigen helicopter.

Geeeen idee meer hoe het heet, weet wel dat ik het gaaf vond.
