Een update!

De assen zijn ondertussen gepoedercoat. Vandaag zijn de homokineten op de assen gemonteerd, goed ingevet, en een heel gepiel met borgclipjes!

Uhm tja...
1 van de geprobeerde manieren: een tang gepakt, daar op de bekken 2 holletjes ingeboort zodat de puntjes van het clipje daar in vallen, tang beetje uitelkaar drukken en dan de clip over de as duwen.
Met een punttang proberen de clip over de as heen te krijgen gaat ook, al heb ik wel een keer of 2 de clip moeten opzoeken in de garage
Heb je de clip op de as dan vervolgens een paar tikken mbv hamer en een pijpsleutel ding om de homokineet tegen de schotel ring in te duwen waardoor de clip in de groef schiet.

normaliter kun je de borgring gewoon los maken, erover zetten en met een kniptang even vast knijpen..( 3 weken geleden nog gedaan)

Maar dan heb jij het over de klem van de ashoes neem ik aan.

Erg mooi om te zien hoeveel oog voor detail je hebt.
Ik mag zoiets altijd graag zien! En ben benieuwd naar het totaalplaatje!

nee,richard bedoelt ook de borging denk ik...ik doe het zelf ook,gewoon oprekken en er omheen rammen als ie in de groef ligt weer aanknijpen.er hoeft geen olifant aan te hangen

Mooi Tinus, zonde als die assen straks tegen het chassis aan schuren.. maargoed, als 't er allemaal onder zit zie je er toch niks meer van

of gewoon niet idioot laag gaan dan hoeven ze ook niet tegen de balkjes aan te schuren.. en is zeer waarschijnlijk de handling van de auto ook gewoon beter....
