I guess the "thing to do" is to sit around and hate on this dude for his choice of styling. I don't see any hacked fenderwells, shortened chassis, or TV's........The hypocrisy in this thread is amazing.
I agree that the burnouts were a bit much but if you aren't insuring him or smart enough to move away from that, there is such a thing called self responsibility.
He has shown that he has done quite a few nice cars. He bought this one, knowing it had a checkered past, and decided to have fun with it. Anyway you look at it, his name is on the pink.
A large number of the Buses I see around here should even be deemed driviable but no one calls the shitina police "because its OG."
Like Dave24 said, stop feeding the troll and decommision the Hater-ation

That's a good point. To regurgitate what's been said a million times - it's his bus and he's enjoying it the way he wants. As far as potentially destroying an old and rare split (they're all old and rare, if you ask me), there are a lot of people "potentially destroying" them -- all you have to do is check out the "Taking your split bus off the beaten path..." thread to see some buses getting "potentially destroyed". (An AWESOME and inspiring thread, by the way.) But those guys are doing the same thing - enjoying THEIR bus the way THEY want. But seeing them bouncing and balancing on 3 (and 2!) wheels - yeah, potential for destruction there also.
My biggest beef with the push contests is the safety of the people around (but as it's already been stated - personal responsibility would take you away from the area). As far as tearing up the grass - depends on whose grass it is (maybe they don't give a shit).
