AFAIK, Diesel-rated engine oil contains higher detergent levels than regular engine oil because Diesel is less volatile than gas.
Depending on the condition of your Audi's engine the worst case scenario is that you'd over-clean (think what happens on a gasser when the oil is never changed and the gas begins to dilute the engine oil) increasing wear and then oil consumption.
