Porsche's first hybrid
 

Think about this. THe very first car with Porsche's name on it was... An electric hybrid with the motors in the wheels. The 1898 Lohner-Porsche Mixtewagen:




This was upgraded through the years and in 1902, the Mixtewagen was a sporty car:

and a hundred years later, Prius drivers think they 've got something new ;)
