Pinstriped toolbox
Got myself a propper pinstripe-brush via prosign and today i finally had some free time to try it. Boy does that make a difference! It's much easier to get thin lines. Simmetry is still al problem though, but then again it's all done freehand (still haven't found a pencil that works on slick black surfaces).

Hey Pim, you are getting better at it each time! It looks great already, keep it up! :D

thanks guys, i'll post some more pics as soon as i've striped some more
|
Man, now you have to paintstrip the tools inside!
|
i doubt the paint will hold on the chrome
i might just respray the entire toolbox in black and start again (it was full of scratches to begin with) |
looks good for a beginner (i'm assuming)! i wish i had that much patience to even attempt it!! keep it up! nice job!

I decided to spray my toolbox black again, so i could try to pinstripe it a second time.
With the help of some pencil guidlines i was able to get a much more symetrical result. The pencil i used is a "Stablio All", which works on most surfaces and it's not wax based so it won't react with the paint. ![]() |
looks much better then the first time
