Greatings from Germany, my MK2 Coupe and my Fathers GT Special
 

Hi guys.

I'm Patrick, coming from Germany.

I'm 17 years old and since I'm 16 working on my dreamcar, my Jetta Coupe :D

That's how I bougt it:






And actually it looks like this. Nearly ready for driving in a few weeks ;) (here in Germany we get our driving licence with 17 but have to drive with our parents untill we are 18 :( )


















Many things not completed yet... there will follow a 16v conversion and new seats and belts, but it's hard to get so much money as a pupil

When he bougt it it was completely stock.

It's a '89 GT Special in Oakgreen. He likes this color, so we didn't paint it completely, the paint was good for 19 years so we just painted the parts around the fenders, because the Golf had to get wider :D

And some years ago he restored a beetle, but in lack of money it poorly had to go... but now after some years the MK2 came :D

The Jetta is now rolling on the streets... there where some engine problems, but now it's all ok ;)

I hope for better weather so I can drive it with my better wheels :D

Wasn't on here for a long time...

There are lot's of changes on my Jetta Coupe...

I bought Schmidt TH Line in 8,5x15 ET18 and 9x15 ET -1... they were a liiiittle bit too wide on the back.

So I decided to weld in some MK1 fenders.

Now where I had enough place for the wheels and my paintjob was successful destroyed I wanted to paint it completely new...

So I made all the bodywork on myself expect the finishing paintjob.

I'm working on a Corrado Frontend with tinted headlights and Rallyegrille at the moment and the interiour still needs some work...

The engine changed from 75 PS to 90 PS in this time because the green MK2 doesn't exist anymore because my father drove it into a tree -.-

Maybe you know it... for example I was on VW Fanatics meeting in nl ;)
