anyways... it's just an artist rendering, but it looks pretty damn good.
The source rumoured it would be based on the Audi A7 platform..

For a long time, there has been rumours of a VW to be positioned between the Passat and Phaeton. Think A6/5-series/E-class competitor.

sounds good but what image could it possibly get

i see it like this:

BMW is lower educated new money

Merc is higher educated old money

Audi is higher educated new money

who the hell would VW be aiming at?
