has anybody been snowboarding/skiing in Lake Tahoe ??
 

I'm considering combining 2 holidays into 1 big trip, but i'm having a hard time finding some much needed info. I was already planning flying out to california to visit a VW show (like the Bugin), but I'd like to combine it with some days on a snowboard. I've heard that lake Tahoe is very nice, but i can't seam to find info on how long the season is.
The bugin is early to mid april, what would the snow conditions be like ?? (i know it's different every year. but i've been on european slopes in early april for the last few years. conditions ranged from pretty good to sloppy and we've even had a few days of fresh powder)
