1.9 SID Caddy II.
 

Hello, my 1998 Caddy2 1.9SID failed its emissions test in france. If i install a cat or diesel particle filter would that help. (all other thing being ok) It does not blow visible smoke. It has a mechanical diesel pump, does the coolant temperature affect the mixture or idle speed?
