ouch, did the interior suffer any damage of just the enginebay?

dash was damaged thats all. thankfully........ new bonnet / windscreen and all new wiring.

no. i think it was electrical/ fuel rail area.

Disaster! Very sweet looking little Lupo, can't wait to see how it'll turn out now...probably even sweeter :)

I have heard that the fire was started becouse of the wipper conversion??.........

What's wrong with the eagle on the steeringwheel? It's just an image of Germany's weapon, not so strange on a German car, and it doesn't stand for anything wrong.

Think of all the Dubs with Iron Crosses. Pretty sure most people driving around with them don't know shit about its meaning. ;)

yes if you look at the rear of the car i have a german 10 cities crest in place of the vw roundel i like the eagle crest so followed on the theme, i do not google anything for idea's i see something i like and use it, i know full well what the eagle represent's.
