You already got an engine?
Or are you gonna use the 2.5L Rabbit/Jetta engine? And "modify" it to an TFSI engine?!
Great work, respect!

I'm still thinking about the lower stabilizer
Maybe it will be in the front as G60 or VR6 or it could be on the front axle as golf MK4 and MK5
But that can be done after the paintin so...

what do you think about this paint

No I don't have an engine yet but I have a Golf mk5 GTi Shell from which I took the measurements and from what I know the TT RS has the same engine compartment as the Golf MK5,Mk6,Seat Leon... so there shouldn't be a mistake, except there could be some problems with the Cardan shaft

2fast4you 30-05-2011 18:54

Today I remembered that I have something that could help me... a 4 motion DSG gearbox ;)

from the looks of it... everything should be OK  but will see.

2fast4you 02-06-2011 11:15

According to this picture The 2.5 TFSI engine should fit in perfectly :D

I have a 51.5 sm clearing from the gear box to the engine Mount

2fast4you 09-06-2011 20:49

Finally some work has been done

the interior has been cleaned of the isolation and primed

the gas pedal has been installed

the ABS pump was also installed

a few minor things to be done and of to the painting shop

Richard 09-06-2011 20:58

paint it in porsche sport classic white/gey

2fast4you 09-06-2011 21:05

I don't really know yet what color I'm going to paint the car but it's not going to be white that is for sure( I had 2 previous projects that were white)... but I think I'll stick to the RED

The build of the car looks really good so far!

Do you also have a picture like this of the R32 motor? I'd really like to get my hands on that!

No I don't have a picture of a R32 motor but it fits perfectly in a MK2 if that is what you plan on doing

2fast4you 19-06-2011 11:51

Finished some minor things like the handbrake

and the upper reinforcement fixing screws

there are only 2 things to finish now and off to sandblasting and then directly to painting :D

2fast4you 19-06-2011 22:01
