killed ...Sorry guys ...been busy fixing them and even done a bit more on my dub :)

fasteddie 05-12-2014 22:40

Airbox time [:s]

Foam is falling to bits and I hate things not right, so had to come apart

Think most look something like this now

Best to split to remove flaps

Old foam removed and found some new foam from mk4 golf door panel speaker blanks

All cleaned and good to go, just going to get more foam tomorrow

fasteddie 05-12-2014 22:41

fasteddie 05-12-2014 22:41

:d

fasteddie 05-12-2014 22:42

fasteddie 05-12-2014 22:43

Just getting the last bits I need to finish her then hope to get stuck in again next month :)

Went to creationsmotorsport_uk
For the Mk2 to Brembo brake lines ...nice and easy and came the next day

Then after a bit of searching I managed to find a set of flat center caps for my Rays, with the Black longer nut covers will be sweet :)
Wee note.... These would not have fitted the car before as the standard bearing hub cap stuck out to far, but running polo gti ones now.
Same colour as rims and Alloy.

Pic on Rim

Here like Whats the craic you lot [:[]

Been well busy :)

Cover removed

Nice and tidy :)

Can't beat a nice bit of blue office carpet

Wiring tidied up unwanted plugs and wiring removed

Look tape next

One loom done and in the car next up engine loom
Got a fair bit through it tonight :)

fasteddie 05-12-2014 22:44

Both looms now sorta sorted just to run them down legs and find a place for ecu :)

Wee drop of wax round boots
seen mk2's rust round these holes

Had a new servo sitting in my loft

New and old

Seat Ibiza Cupra R master cylinder and Ford focus one on car :)

My new center caps from Japan :D

These wheels don't come with center caps when you buy them :(
German Performance wheel of choice
Wee links

Click on ;)

https://www.google.co.uk/search?q=P...k+Te37&tbm=isch

The power cable to hide battery in the car

Dash in to see what room I have under it for ECU tis looking good :)

Wiring and more wiring [:s]

Working through wiring today, wanted to utilize the holes in the shell

Nice wee blanks in the chassis, removed these and found me some Vag Grommets to fit in nice

Front wiring and plugs

Ran the rest of the wiring through scuttle to hide it and take part of it to the ecu in to car via the heated washers wiring grommet

Wiring ran down both legs and brought up through leg to the washer motor and a loop earth I added

fasteddie 05-12-2014 22:45

Sorting battery cable and finishing wiring earths etc

To wiper motor and the other to Emerald inside car

Battery cable Grommet in leg and lighting wiring run

Center tail is for sensors and starter etc ..right hand tail is for level sensor in coolant bottle

loop earth

fasteddie 05-12-2014 22:46

Battery cable sorted ..bit of G sheet cut to fit the inset and keep feed cable safe and reseal floor :)

Bit of hard wax sealer

Where it comes out :)

sorted

Next up was sort out the wiring on rear of Dash
New feed added etc

Dash fitted

My Wideband and anything else you want, it does it all

Cover time :D

Quiet day do going to make a few pipes up :)
Everything you will need, you can get brake pipe pliers but not needed
wee alloy bar with a cutout I put in it does everything I need.
Thing I don't like is copper/nickel copper pipe as its not factory looking
also copper goes off and looks crap ...so mine will be copper/black [8D]
more pic's soon

Work out what length you need and leave a bit on so once you shape it, then trim if need be before fitting nut
Wee pipe cutter

Make sure end is flat ..wee file

Pop in

Job done

Shape pipes by hand and finish them once clipped into place

So far so good

Clipped and wee heat shield I made added

Next up was drivers front pipe which comes back across

Last to finish front was passanger side pipe

fasteddie 05-12-2014 22:47

The Brake shield, seen these on Subarus so made on for the Dub out of wifes special K box :D

Cardboard wasn't going to fly so .....

Bit of an after thought

fasteddie 05-12-2014 22:48

Pipes all finished, just need to bleed :)

Looks better than copper

Rear pipes Sorted

Bleeding sorted ..pedal good
