heli van mcrae is gecrashd, waarschijnlijk was hij zelf aan boord met zijn vrouw en kinderen....


let's hope not


heb bijna tranen in mijn ogen, super sympathieke gast, zou echt te erg zijn als het waar is...

Op verschillende sites wordt het al bevestigd dat hij en zijn zoon van 5 aan boord waren en het niet hebben overleefd.

Het niet veel van zijn races gezien, maar kan me wel nog wat interviews van hem herinneren. 't Was een ontzettend vriendelijke kerel.

bah.. da's weer slecht nieuws.
en wel ironisch.. in de toch niet ongevaarlijke sport ging het altijd goed, en dan gaat het met een gewoon helicoptervluchtje mis.
dat einde past niet bij zo'n grote sportman.

In 1999 stapte hij over naar Ford, in 2003 acteerde McRae op het hoogste rallypodium met Citroën. De Schot heeft ook meegedaan aan Dakarrally´s met Nissan en BMW. In 2006 zette McRae een punt achter zijn loopbaan. Bekend is zijn naam ook vanwege het gelijknamige computerspel.

Heel erg verlies voor de rallysport dit !!


Ik lees hierboven net ook over Burns?

Dat heb ik niet eens meegekregen, gaat over Richard Burns neem ik aan toch ofniet? Wat is er met hem precies gebeurd dan als ik vragen mag?
