Default 1.8 20v turbo vraagje

weet iemand van jullie of de motoren die ze bij seat gebruiken,inderdaad ook dezelfde motoren zijn als de vw motoren?
vooral met betrekking tot de montage van de motorsteunen e.d.
hij moet namelijk in een golf 1 ingebouwd worden,en ik heb er geen zin in om een hoop geld uit te geven aan een 20vt blok als ik er uiteindelijk achter moet komen dat ie niet past.

De bevestiging voor de steunen zitten gewoon op het blok, van de buitenkant zijn ze dus dezelfde.

Zelfs een Skoda blok is mogelijk, misschien qua aanschaf zelfs wel interessanter

Seat Ibiza Cupra-blok is perfect te doen, getuige hiervan is de MK1 van Workz, die niet alleen het blok maar ook de volledige remmerij en al de rest heeft zitten. Voor meer info kan je hem best es PM'en, hij is nl. ook lid van dit forum.

Hoop dat dit je verder helpt...

Wat betreft de verschillen, ik heb me laten vertellen dat de blokken uit de Ibiza Cupra en de TT hier beter voor geschikt zijn, vanwege de orientatie van de luchtinlaat.

ook interessanter vanwege de niet-electronische gasklep op de early models...

De gasklep is geen probleem daar zijn wel andere trucjes voor en als je dbw hebt en je wilt origineel management blijven gebruiken bouw je gewoon het elec. pedaal in, stelt niet heel veel voor.

er zijn truukjes voor alles (ik heb ook de electronische zitten) , maar soms is makkelijk, gewoon euh... makkelijker ... :biggrin:
