Default The J-Bug - 25% less metal but 100% more fun :)

It's not technically a project any more coz I use it all the time, but you know volksrods .. they're never finished.

If anyone is going to Chimay or BugJam (UK) gimme a shout if you see me

Here he is chirping those fat meats at the December Cruisenight Utrecht

Mr. Salt! Welcome!
There's quite a few pics of your ride in the aircooled Scheveningen album.

Haven't heard anything about it yet?
Is this that new idea Dominique was working on?

Btw, do you have any build pics of the J-bug?

I put some selected photos (out of the 400 or so I took) on my Facebook page .. here's a link to the album ... https://www.facebook.com/radiotrib/...80934222&type=3

If you want explanantions as well, I've got a sort of detailed build thread .. It's been copied onto volksrods.com , volksrods.co.uk , keversite.nl , rodsnsods.co.uk , bltnvw.com and volkspower.nl

Unfortunately I lost all the web-formatted images in a server crash and so far I've only manages to restore the last 2 years of pictures ... still working on getting the rest back up, but I never seen to find the time.

This thread http://volksrods.com/forum/showthread.php?t=28022 is a build without reader comments ...

these other ones also have a lot of input from the other members on the boards ... and the garage threads on all three boards are well worth going trough .. look for the ones with the high read/reply counts ...

Nope .. it's something I organised last year at the end of the summer .. we closed it down for Nov to Feb and restarted inMarch.

It runs every month on the last Wednesday of the month. First people start to get in around 7-730pm .. we normally only see 5 or 6 but as the weather improves and more people in the region get to know about it we expect to see it become another important cruise in date ... Right now it's still very small and informal, but growing ...

When we get to the point where we have 10 or more aircooled and T3's all there at the same time, then we will do a mini cruise around Scheveningen and over the new boulevard to show the holidaymakers

Heh Heh .. only if you want to park outside the village I'm afraid ... Free parking inside is for ACWVs and T3s ... OTOH - it depends how busy it gets. The village can hold about 15 cars so c'mon down anyway and say hello ...

Drive in, grab a beer, shake some hands, take some photos, drive out again if its busy or stay a while if it isn't
