Great pics and what a location to organise a show! Nice! I recently went to Brazil and really enjoyed the diversity of VW's there as opposed what we are used to. Half or maybe even 2/3 of the VW's you see over there, will never be seen over here. Also had a little crush on the latest Saveiro's! Really nice pick-up, too bad there aren't any on your pics. But keep up the good work! I would love to see more pictures of the meetings and ctg's in Brazil. Is the VW-modding scene big over there?

Where did you visit here?

We have a lot of longitudinal vws, and some different that you have, like Gol, SpaceFox (Suran), Voyage, Golf mk4 facelifted (not so good as original, but still a mk4), Bora (with chinese facelift. I don't like the design, but is a good car).

Here in my state, PARANA, VW still the best selling brand, so theres a lot of VWs to enjoy.

The VW modding scene is huge, specially for vws, is bigger than other brands by far, but most lacks good taste (you know rice look, fast and furious shit), and Brazil is really big, so there's a lot of modded VWs.

The favorites vws for modding still the longitudinal ones, because the performance parts are cheap, has lots of options and the tuners are experienced in this type of chassis and engines.

But this longitudinal ones are ending the production in favor of transversal ones with Polo 9n/9n3 platform (PQ-25). Sad.

Yes, there is a mk1 Saveiro from Ricardo, this Saveiro has the EA827 1.8 liter engine with 049g camshaft, the interior is all GTI, with OEM leather steering, similar to mk2 GTI (4 balls horn button), leather Recaros, and more. The owner now is searching for a koni dampers that fits the car, and coilsprings to low a bit.

The owner takes care of this Saveiro like a son. He really loves that Saveiro.

Hope you don't mind to post lots of pics. thx

Tjaap, this is a Voyage, a beautifull one. I agree

This is the version facelifted in 1991. It have more names like Gacel and Senda in Argentina, and Fox like you said in USA.
