Default Help with Saveiro Chassis Question

I just purchased a 2005 Saveiro 1.8 8V. I am looking to upgrade some suspension components. I know it's the Pick-up version of Gol but does any one know what other VW this pick-up truck share it's chassis components with? B3 or B4 Passat? A3 Golf? Thanks

As far as I know, it does not share any chassis components with any of the Golfs or Passats. I cant tell for sure though, because I have never seen any Saveiro, or Gol or Parati for that matter.

What I know about the history of Gol, is that the first model (G1) was built with the scirroco base. But the new project (G2 and G3) I think is different.

If your interest is upgrading the suspension, here in Brasil there are some suspension kits specially for Saveiro G3 (Red Coil, AG Kit, Feeder). Even Eibach is sold to Gol, Saveiro, Parati G3 (Brasilian Site with eibach

"MOLA EIBACH - GOL GERAÇÃO III
3x R$254,07"
This are for Gol, but I think there are for Saveiro too...

Not the Scirocco, but the first Passat/Audi 80. The Scirocco is built on the first Golf chassis, with transverse engine.

There has been a GOL, which looked like a Scirocco, with air-cooled engine in the front.. it looks a lot like a Scirocco, and it looks like it's Passat/Audi80 based, but it isn't (BX platform)

The BX project was based on Scirroco, I'm sure.
In this link you can find the history of it:

Site to translate it

But the other two generations (G2 and G3) have a different project, AB9. The AB9 I really don't know where was based on, but I'll try to contact Ve_Erre, because he know's more about it.

Default Saveiro

Thanks guys for your help. I took a look at the front suspension. It has the turning buckle attach to the shock body. Look the early gen Passat.

I found this kit for Gol/Parati. It's call Geofire. Any one has experience with these coil-over before?

I've never seen before...

This one called feeder I've seen in a Golf MK4 GTi... the car looked great, and it was running really smooth with it (And it has a good price also (+/- 100 euros)):
