Default VW Gol 1.0 16V Turbo at 8200 rpm

This is a project beeing made in a VW Gol 1.0 Álcool.... it is not completed, but the objective is to build the fastest 1.0 in Brazil.

Is this a custom made exhaust manifold?




Is this 16V head standard on 1.0 Gols? It looks pretty similar to European 16V heads of a 1.4 engine (Polo / Lupo)...

What about the 8200 rpm? I see only 6100 rpm max... :p

Yes, this is a custom exhaust manifold... it was made by "Mutante"...

This head was standard at the 1.0 16v Turbo version. Was because this version doesn't exist any more....

We have 1liter with 8v and 16v...and the turbo version...

but on 1.0 16v Turbo has VVT cam for intake intake valves...and bosch motronic 3.8.3 management...

the most powerful aspirated version has 76cv...

And the turbo version :
999cm3
112 cv (82 kW) @ 5.500 rpm
15,8 kgfm (155 Nm) 2.000 to 4.500 rpm
0 to 100 km/h: 9,5 segundos
max. speed:: 192 km/h

To pull an old cow out of the sloot..

A friend of mine is building this 1.0 16v turbo is a Seat Arosa (almost a Lupo Richard.. ) I don't know if there are more engines in the Netherlands, but I think it is pretty unique. I love the little turbo, it looks like a 1/5 scale model
