Default radio connector issue

Hi there,

I recently bought a Lupo 3L TDI, 45 kW, year 200, 200 000 kms.

Want to replace the original carradio but ran into the issue that the new radio is never switched off. No adapters to connect the VW plug and the radio appeared necessary, fitted right away.

I further checked the VW connector that goes into the radio, it looks like there is no wire present that is switched with the contact. To my surprise there seems to be one wire that switches between 12 and 9.5 V, depending on whether the contact is on or off.

Does anyone have a recommendation how to deal with this?
The new radio is brand Calibar.

I appreciate any help / recommendations.
