Default Mk1's seats information...

Hi there...
Do you have any information about those seats?
Are mounted on my 1982's mk1 Cabrio GLi...

I've read something about an opt called "Karo Design", but I've found very few informations...

Thanks!

P.S.: the first pic is taken from the web...

Welcome here on Volksforum. Nice to meet people from other country's. I can't tell you more about your interior. But i think it is original. There were very mutch different types of interior in the 80's and 90's especialy for the golf cabrio. Your car looks very nice. Do you have new paint? Like your ATS cups also, i have them to.

Thanks turbojo2,
yes I think too the interior are original, but I can't find many informations on the web, I've read somewhere that was available only in 1981 and 1982 as an option...

My car had new paint only on the lower part (below chromed trim)...
The ATS Cup are 7x15 ET20, too wide, I still have them, but now the GLi mounts a set of ATS Type5 7x15 ET30...
Here the Type5 mounted on my other mk1

For who's intersted, I've got the definitive answer from "VW Classic Parts" about my seats...

Actually all the codes (KY and M409) correspond to what I see on my baggage plate...
