Ik kreeg een tijdje geleden een verhaal mee dat je hem eigenlijk in Engeland wilde laten spuiten door een bekende drag-auto spuiter, maar dat je hem nog te duur vond?

@Tjaap ja was bezig met the paintbox maar dat ging richting de 10.000 pond.
Komt natuurlijk door wat ik wil. In ieder geval geen doorsnee paintjob maar iets wat opvalt. Lees Metalflake en dan de grofste die er is..... Ik heb nu hier iemand leren kennen die er zijn werk van heeft gemaakt en special paint doet maar ook een zeer begenadigd pinstriper is. Hij spuit de auto en als deal voorziet hij de vleugel van zijn eigen reclame. Michael

Laatste paar dagen veel aan de auto gewerkt. Allemaal kleine dingen maar al met al weer wat vooruitgang.
De voorruit sparing geschuurd en geplamuurd en voorzien van wat lak om te kijken of het er al een beetje uitziet.  Daarna ben ik begonnen aan het opnieuw monteren van de voorklep omdat ik de oude manier er niet uit vond zien.  Morgen verder met de voorklep..... Michael

 Had al gehoord dat je auto in engeland stond voor de kooi. Maatje van mij heeft bij dezelfde kerel een fastback staan die ook omgebouwd word naar dragracer. (koen fraeyman) Staat nog redelijk kaal op de moment. Hoop dit jaar of volgend jaar ook eens mee naar engeland te kunnen om een weekendje te gaan kijken.

Best wel een triest aanblik zo kaal, nu je weet hoe hij ooit was. Blijft het Tiki Thema wel? Flakes en flashy spuitwerk passen natuurlijk wel bij een racer, alleen vond ik het beige met die decals wel érrugh mooi.

It's been a while but I'm still working on the car. Searching for parts consumes a lot of time and changing my mind every day doesn't help either
But I decided to ditch the renault gearbox and put a 091 in. Got a lead on a really good one ;D ;D. I'm also going efi so I bought an IC and have to make a new intake and exhaust so why not make everything a little bigger and get a bigger turbo. Sold all the draw through stuff so there is no turning back now ;D    Michael
