Deze foto's zaten bij een advertentie die ik ooit een keer gevonden heb. Deze tekst stond erbij:

The engine, braking system, floor pans, seats, instrument cluster, cogwheel pod, cogwheel crest,transmission and axles are originals. The engine has been removed, compression checked, engine auxiliaries rebuilt and re-installed. The car runs well. The car has not been restored but has newer paint on the exterior. An 82e consists of a normal type 60 Beetle factory installed on top of a Kubelwagen type 82 drive train and suspension. $120,000 US.
