hello guys, engine is back in along with most of the other stuff, the strut mounts are still on their way...

when i meet the painter in real life i am gonna beat him like a sandsack:thumbdown:

but i love the dash and the shifter

shifter throws like 1inch from 1st to 2nd:what:wow

bad thing is that the center console wont fit anymore, so i have to find a spot for the radio, any ideas??

as you see there is no glove compartement in the dash!#

the bay only looks ok in the photo, you cant see the noses and paint runs
there are some really bad painted spots and he oversprayed the cables and the backside of the brakebooster as well as the steering coloum and boots.

but he wanted a lot of money up front(wich i payed), couldnt get it done on time and ruined the trip to wörthersee with pauly in the mk1 last year.
the quality is way worse than expected.

this year he had all the time to fix his fukc ups and the whole firewall looks like shit?? this why i get agressive

i'd make a small box underneath or behind the seats for the radio..

stainless or alu doorcards would really finish it off imo

I'm with Marc!
A small remote control at the back of the sunvisor wil make it almost invisible!

liegt ja auch daran das ich meistens unterwegs bin...

car is parted and awaits its 3rd evoloution, engine build, repaint everything, overhaul stuff, customize more, upholstery just about everything is going to be done over and i will change the look as well.

note: since just about everyone who thinks is scene (mostly these people are not) tells me to take off bumper and skirts (which are there for a reason) i will chnage the style to more oem like.

BUT

if anyone tells me to lower it more i will start a f+§$=# fistfight!

yes my controll arms are straight, yes my suspension actually works, no i am not going to put air in the car and yes i dirve 15000+km a year in bucket seats. and thats it. my car my rules my style my problems my money, we will see how that turnes out what i have in mind for the car.

so it was my bithday yesterday and my girlfriend took the plane to visit me wich was incredibly awsome, so was that package wich arrived in the morning!

its a comlete kit with hoses and everything(not in the pic) and the first parts i ever bought for my car in norway. was reasonable cheap for what i want because all the other kits contain more stuff i dont need because i already got them so the usual gt28 kit goes for 4500$us but that kit i bought was only about 1700$ wich is actually pretty cheap.
here another pic!

the exhaust manifold is already portmached from the guy i bought it from wich is pretty awsome, i think i may polish the inside a little more to get less turbolence and resistance from it...

also my buddy in the us got me this phenolic spacer wich adapts my intake mani (big port) to my head (small port) and keeps the temperature away from the intake manifold.

mor4e parts to come!
