Iemand suggesties.
zou dit nog te repareren zijn? Donor stuk eraan lassen?
Of 2 nieuwe kopen en die aanpassen naar swallowtail kenmerken..
Maarja 2 originele schermen kopen van 400-500 en daar de slijptol weer in te moeten zetten...

Dit zou door een beetje ervaren plaatwerker toch makkelijk herstelt moeten kunnen worden. In 1969 gingen ze al met een raket naar de maan dus paar kleine stukjes plaatwerk inlassen is zo gepiept.

Ik weet niet of je een lasser naar de maan moet sturen, maar dit is inderdaad nog goed te maken. Je originele schermen behouden is echt een meerwaarde.

Gister spullen bij de poedercoater op gehaald. Caterpan en kleppendeksel alleen buitenkant gedaan.

Weer wat aanbouw delen af.
Dynamo en startmotor gereviseerd waterpomp moet ik nog doen.










Dynamo gewoon blank gelaten zoals origineel.












Schutbord bijna klaar.

Jezus wat gaat de tijd snel... al weer 5maanden verder
Kom er helaas weinig aan toe om wat aan de golf te doen.

Nog wat kleine vorderingen..






Nog een paar roestpuntjes maar al een eind klaar voor de primer










Dakraam ook compleet verwijderd. Ook nog wat roestbestrijding nodig.



Spatbord kaal gemaakt.

danku.. ook heel wat uurtjes bezig geweest met die 2 stukken. ziet er al aardig strak uit. ff overleggen met de spuiter. of het zin heeft om al verder voor te bewerken. Meest arbeids intensief die motorruimte.

Maargoed plaatwerk moet ook nog gedaan worden. Oplettende kijker ziet aan de R kant ook nog een gat zitten wat er niet hoort is nog van de LPG. Die toen der tijd vergeten dicht te lassen maarja heb geen las aparaat meer.

Hoop wel voor je dat je ook het laatste kleine pikkie roest wegkrijgt want die gaan gewoon weer verder met roesten onder de nieuwe laklaag. Eigenlijk zou je alle roestplekken moeten uitstralen met glasparel.

stof stof..

ja heb wel dieper geschuurd tot die zwarte roest punten weg waren.
moeilijke plekjes wel geprobeerd te stralen maar eigenlijk geen doen thuis. Motor ruimte dus afgemaakt en de rest word gedaan.

verder zit er niet zoveel schot in...


nog wat foto'tjes



















iemand nog ideeen voor deze onderdelen:

Rubbers van mijn schakelmechanisme als ik dit nummer zoek krijg ik andere ( nieuwer type ) rubbers.




idem voor mijn kachel




en iemand een idee waar ik een oud type waterpomp kan vinden ( alleen de pomp zonder behuizing dus )







denk dat ik zo nog wel wat meer onderdeeltje ga tegen komen


Bij de lokale VW dealer probeer ik het niet meer.
enige wat ik daar als antwoorden krijg zijn :

weet ik niet
hebben we niet
porbeer classicparts
weet ik niet
geen idee
moeilijk moeilijk
wat is dat?

Hoe krijg je die wielkasten zo schoon? Kit verwarmen en eraf steken met een plamuurmes of dergelijke?
