Default stretch tyre on 7j and 8j

hi guy's, now I wanna put on my mk1 stretch tyre...

wath kind of size I can use?

I have bbs 7j and 8j, I want a low profile and stretch, but I need to go fast... I find a safe tyre size...

on 7j 165/45 or 165/50 are safe?
on 8 I think 185/45???

other choice?sorry for my bad english

195/40 on 8j should be fine aswell

What's the size of your rim, 15" or 16"?

oh I'm sorry.... the bbs are 15" there aren't 195/40 for the 15"...

I've got 185-45 on a 8" RM wheel. I think if you want to go for a lot of grip you also pick the 185-45 for the 7" wheel, because the 165 is very thin for good cornering.

good idea, but 195/45 on 8j are not to mutch pretty for me... or not?

now i've got 195/50/15 on 7 and 8 but are orrible...

185/45/15 on 7j?
