my name is Chris and i'm from Poland and i want to show you my project.

Right know my car is tottaly modified with cleaned rules
new paint , rims etc.

that is what i modified to this time, to this day...and its not the end
Mk3 GTI (ex.)TDI 20 Jahre Edition bj.97

Engine
-swap for Audi S3 Engine - 1.8T (210ps/270Nm)
-stock power andd torque (after instaling intake and exhaust - without any ecu modicications) 250ps/300Nm
-remap by COMPSPORT - 274ps 350Nm
-ShortShifter from BSK
-Clutch dedicated to VR6 by Sachs
-Gearbox (CYP) from 1.9tdi (AFN)
-Flywheel from 2.0 16V(ABF)
-Forge Hybrid BOV/Splitter
-Pipercross air filter
-3' intake made with stainless steel by MG Motorsport with big front mounted intercooler

Exhaust:
3'' downpipe, 2,5'' pipe from Downpipe without catalyzer with two boxes made by MG Motorsport

Suspension:
-Adjustable coilovers from Supersport for egines 110KW-128KW :-D
-WRD Mesh 16' front 9 inches, rear 10 inches
-Conti SportContact 2 215/35/16 - for 4 rims
-Audi S3 yokes and renewed break callipers
-Goodridge steal coated break lines
-Ate Blue racing break fluid
-Drilled brake plates 312mm Zimmermann + break pads ferodo (front), break plates Brembo with break pads Ferodo (rear)

dude who did that, made really good job, normally he is reparing leather interiors for VW&Audi dealers and he have acces to original materials signed with VW&Audi logos
and of corse he use that with my seats



















and i bought earlier original badges for Porsche seats kind of repalcement stuff for broken seats and im wondering how i have to put it??
how do you think?




and i found in really good price original and of course great condition leather from 97 vr6 door panels and back side panels, i didnt think long when i saw it, so i bought it

first small shoping at this year...
side lists deicated for painting, present ones are terrible and too soft for paint so after instaling that stuff look terrible and black interior light for black roof and i brought srews for flywheel and basket for fuel filter dedicated for VR6 because next friday im going to buy new engine 1.8t from Audi S3 with 210 horses








my new engine







so i started my first SWAP
it was little bit tuff and that is not so easy like i thought before but i did this part pretty well,

but right know i need to prepare 1.8T for instalig in my mk3, first of all i will change all parts which need to be replaced

i found some time to clean engine bay, and i found some rost ****, but its not that bad i think couple hours and i will remove this
any way i need to do some small clean look in engine bay and of course i need to paint it up

i did only half of it because i spend most of m time for cleaning the gear box and i think i did that pretty good to compare i made some pics

I fit in the gearbox(gearbox from tdi engine ) with engine and of course it fits




and i figure out first problem turbo's oli flow is instaled in wrong place i need to modificate this part becaus the right engine mount will not fit to original place, besides that i try to fit engine mount to the place and its great... it fits


I clean completly half of the engine bay for coat and lack, i think in 2 weeks car will go for new paint in engine bay, of corse paint will be thee same as on car LC5M Moonlightblue

i cleaned other side of engine bay


next step I used Valvoline's Body Safe for body conservation







With my firend I weld the usefull holes in engine bay and 2 places where i found ****ty rost


at the time i cleand coilovers


next step was use the valvoline's bodysaffe again





and next few coats of conservation



conservation at wheel side is dry so i think its done for now




engine bay is ready for paint, this saturday car will go for new paint in engine bay





next step is behind my back the engine bay was painted with original lack


and of course few elements too


i painted few elements too in black mat(starter,AC kompresor and steering pump) those elements are hided but with their old look the could ruined the view in engine bay


right know i need to prepare gear box for new paint... i think i will paint it with original paint :]

today i get my gearbox from my painter... he painted with original paint LC5M which is on my car... so i think right know engine bay will looks way more nicer








i think some screws i need to chrome


besides that i just came back from garage and i more than happy
im ver f***in exhausted
i clean and polish some stuff


and i figure out there is few things to do to install engine in engine bay so i decided to put that sh*t on engine mounts in engine bay


so then... the egine hang on egnine mounts



i get some stuff for engine
air filter from Pipercross


and s3 engine cover


i take out alternate, and take it to check it and of course it need to by repaired,
at the same time i ask to paint it in blac paint


today i connect the fuel system and start to polish intake pipe and of course i couldnt wait to see how engine look like with S3 cover

today i get small cooler for small turbo



so far so good, its almost done... i connect cooling system connected, fuel system, and vacuum system...
right know someone need to connect some cables to fire it up
and of course intake and exhaust
yesterday i took front mount from my painter....its was whole painted



and today i use some screws to instal fenders and that front mount to look how it look like






right know i need to install that coolerits almost the end

today Golf goes to MG Motorsport to do new stainless steal exhaust & intake, i will get him back in 3 days.... i think it will be 3 longest days ever



as you can see there is nothing left from ooriginal front mounting



exhaust is already finished
3 iches downpipe & 2,5 inches on 2 silencers made with stainless steal











right know MG Motorsport is doin intake with 2,5 inches pipes

i just get back from MG Motorsport where i takemy golf and move him to other firm to make wires and fire it up.....

today i went to dynotest


score shows that the engine is healthy
226ps i 300Nm


next run show litle bit less HP but more Nm so im more than happy
212ps i 310Nm

after few days i started to complete some stuff to make my car little bit faster, after new year i will buy few other things and we will try to reach 300ps
to dicrease oil temp. i get oil radiator

it was little bit difficult to fit it... but finally i made it




interior is almost done... extra gauges (EGT and boost) are conected, right know im waiting for new raid silberpfeil steering wheel made with new leather and carbon

next step is change brakes for Audi S3 breakes with bigger calippers and 312mm break plates and steal coated break lines from goodridge and ATE SUper Blue racing break fluid

befor increasing the power i need to upgrade my breakes system


i wasnt sure are these calippers fit with rims and overall fits to my car... but finally i was suprised... after tiny modyfication those callipers fits fine
but first and before i made some shoping

soo i get back from worthersee (i meet there Jordan Schreck with mates and i want say hello to them, it was really nice to meet them overe there)



car and engine did good job on the route, i made 2000km without any problems
only porblems i've got with Police


here som cop figure that i dont have front tag on bumper (but it was behind front glass), explanation didnt work and i get first ticket
and here some others


any way i think i was great show and great time spended in Austria

i couldnt let my self to park car in Reifnitz

i update my meter




i changed xenon bulbs for 4300K because in Poland Cops dont like cars with not original xenon system and with this stuff i wll be conspicious




i changed oil
Valvoline VR1 Racing 10w60 oil filter K&N and for healthand prevention Motul Engine Clean




i bought Mocal Oil Cooling system and Forge kit for deleting EGR valve




so i install it in my car







after test i need to say oil is way more cooler than before, it will helps more after making remap

and last thing: Golf mk4 dashboard













after couple of hours i made it

so i started to prepare car for remap it was fu*&%n difficult to take out Dowpipe from car but finally i made it




next step was to take downpipe to MG Motorsport to make adapters for EGT and AFR and finally to coated downpipe with thermo bandage


after test i can say its really cooler under the bonnet...

i made it

yesterday i went to Compsport and i did that








crazy... this is graph of the stock 1.8t without any interference ino engine computer



later engine shows these digits 274hp and 355Nm

so... i still didnt start new season Golf is still sleeping at garage , because im still waiting for some parts which www.cardream.com is skinning with carbone fiber for me.
in this yeat i will try to work on details for car and of course enjoying of 20VT .

so the car and especially interior needs some brand new leather parts







other parts like i wrote above will be carbone skinned (there are pics from making of)
