Default My 84 GTI

Well, it used to look like this

It's been stripped for the most part since late 2008

Was going to build a full track car out of it until I started to come across some rare Zender parts and I'm going for it.

The shell

Marcski grabbed these for me after I won them on German eBay

16x7 ET38 4x100 Zenders

Picked up a period correct Recaro seat

I'm recovering it in the red GTI material

Zender body kit and wing

Some 0 mile H&R's

Gave her a wash after sitting for years.

Got a quick disconnect hub for the wheel

Zender grille

And an NOS Zender Schroth harness

The motor that's going in is a g60 block with cam, Lysholm charger, stage 4 chip and Callaway intercooler. Hoping to get it squared away and on the road early enough to take it to H2O

Enginewise quite close to Ruurd's project.
