A very nice meeting to say the least.

It was the first time this meeting was held, but with a organisation this good (MVR racing, the organisers of the BIG VW Mania in august every year) it was bount to be a succes.
For us (the volksforum team) it was also a first. The first time that we had a stand on a meeting. Luckily some people in the team have great contacts in the VW world and we organised 10 drop dead gorgeous cars to represent at our stand. 3 of which ended up with a prize.
The meeting itself was very well organised, great athmosphere, good turnout and VERY good weather (i got a sunburn )
We didn't get enough pics of the MVR team but they were all dressed up in 70's disco outfit to stay with the retro theme... even the throphy's were retro. The whole theme was very much in style with everything volksforum wants to be as well. a great hangout for everybody with a VW-minded heart, aircooled and watercooled. So all in all a very good meeting, and i hope the first of many. i know we'll be there too next year.
