Default windshield

Hello,

I have a euro golf country in Canada and there is a small crack in the windshield. Local inspector wants me to change the windshield to be able to register the car. Here in the Canada all golfs and jettas have glued windshields like the golf rallyes.
Now my question. Is the windshield of a golf rallye in seize the same as a regular euro golf? So can a rallye windshield be installed in a regular euro golf with regular rubber?

thanks

Nicolas

not sure if they fit in a rubber, but you can use a glue-in windshield... it even ads to the stiffness of the chassis.
