Not that good of a paintjob though. Doesn't have that nice smooth surface...

True and I think it stands out this much due to the color. It just struck my eye thats why, could have been a bad re-paint job I figured.

read the ad. guys... the paint is good it's just because there's a bra that is on the car...just some folie...if you look good at the pic you see some line....that's from the bra...

Read about the bra, just didn't figure he meant he put it on the hood. I reconned he put it on his front bumper.
If the line on the picture really is the edge of the bra why is it bend down at the edges of both hood and side-panel?

Is it normal for the US spec Golf GTI 8V to have rear drum brakes?

You're right richard, it's a bra on the hood. Saw it the first time.

Damn, that thing is really brand new.

Can't find anything about the rear drum brakes now, maybe later

That is so smart. I'm 19, so i don't really remember anything about the mk2 when it was first brought out, in the showrooms. It's nice to see what they must have looked like though.
