Default New here, saying hello

Been checking out some threads around these parts more frequently so i figured id say hello and take the chance to post up some pics of my car

how she looked when i got it, this was my first full build up



threw in a carb'd 1.8



wanted some more power..(16v on MSnS)



wasnt too bad lookin, but needed some body work.



fresh out of the booth



all back together and with some new goodies in the bay






took er apart again, sold the ITB's, painted the bay

thanks! wish i could take credit, its a custom piece by a local fabricator.

figure i should list off some of the mods

2L 16v w/ MSnS
custom intake, fuel rail, Ford 70mm TB
2y 020, peloquin diff, .75 5th
stock clutch setup/pp
vented 9.4's, PBR metal master pads
Rear discs, NAPA crap pads to aid brake bias
stainless lines throughout
20mm MC w/ rocco inline valves
Poly bushings, except control arms, those are Delrin, offset for caster
Ground control coilovers (450/350)
Koni yellow (f) Bilstein sport (r)
Cabriolet dash, rocco seats
all interior sound deadaning removed

to do this winter:
bilstein group 2 race shocks
proportioning valves w/ new hard lines
remove all exterior sound deadaning, POR-15 everything
powder coat tons of stuff
boost

they were a bit of a pain to tune, and even once they were working pretty well, the idle was inconsistant and IMO it looked kinda janky. was able to sell them for the same price of the manifold so i really couldn't loose!

also i am adding boost soon, and that was a major contributing factor

another thing, that old front spoiler, was that a Zender piece?

yes i believe it was a replica made from a zender spoiler. the origional zender's that i have seen are generally a hard plastic type material, this one is made out of fiberglass. It went on a friends track car for a few events and we are doing some repairs and it will go back on with some nice big flairs.

Hoosier is coming out with a 255/40-13 that fit on a 13x10 an im intending to fit those on the car for track days/autox/hillclimb events
