First off: welcome!

VW is so kind to supply us with cars which most parts are interchangable on. Engines, drivetrains etc will fit straight from any A1 to A3 Golf, with some work from A4 platforms...but also from Passats, Polo's etc. The A2 Golf has the same base as the A2 Jetta so all parts (unless clearly different) are the same.

I think A2 based cars are probably the BEST supplied range when it comes to aftermarket products ranging anywhere from supercharger setups to altezza's. Really, the options are endless...

What do you want to do with the car? Performance? Style? You can take parts from ANYTHING in the VAG line-up and many other cars...Ive done a lil of that myself
