It is (or was?) a Chevrolet Cavalier 2-door Coupe, early 90s vintage. The curved bottom of the rear side window line gives it away.

is says isuzu on the back, but since isuzu is GM too it sure is the isuzu clone of the ascona/cavalier and some Holden..

My first thought was a Honda accord, but after some research that wasn't it, also no Nissan.
Searched for the Isuzu aska on Google, but didn't find any model that looks a little like this

You can see that the design of the doors is identical to an Ascona C.  It's funny that you mention the Honda Accord though, as the last version of the Isuzu Aska was a rebadged version of the Honda Accord. There was also a Subaru Legacy rebadged as an Isuzu Aska, and this was the Aska generation between the GM J-car and the Accord version.
