Hello!
I am building this car so here are some specs:
Tdi 130 HP,6 speed gearbox
fabia driveshafts
288 VR6 brakes
front axle original 1.6D golf
We won't use VR6 front axle because it is too wide and tyres will rubbing
All motor mounts from fabia
water radiator and clima radiator from fabia
all hoses from fabia
complete wirig from fabia
fabia dash with complete heating

pedalbox: electric gas pedal and hidraulic clutch from fabia, brake pedal from golf (no ABS, golf 16 V master cilinder) this need some welding...

I cut dash about 10 cm under widscreen, and I cut some metal from firewall to make room for heating box

Today is third day of work and I hope this will be finish in about two weeks

There was this joke about skoda: meneer 1 "heeft u ruitenwissers voor mijn skoda?" dealer: "dat lijkt me geen goede ruil!"

translated: Mr 1 "Do you have windscreenwipers for my skoda?"
dealer: "That doesn't sound like a good trade" (he is implying his wipers are of more value)

anyway, those days are over, Skoda is VAG now! Project looks fingerlickin' good!

Lot's of new things but no pics! We had problem with brakes, with speed and distance measurings, with mounts, ....
I wanted to put VR6 288mm brakes but they can't be mounted on MK2 steering knuckles and I didn't want to put parts from MK3 because my tires allready rubs and with mk3 parts is going to rub so much more. I decided to put G60 brakes and drilled discs to 5 holes, but new problem was audi tt lug with 5 holes because tt lug is 1-2mm bigger on diameter and G60 disc doesn't go on. New problem was speedmeter, because there isn't speed sensor on gearbox. The comp takes readings from abs. So I had to find out are the fabia and tt lugs the same. And we had to put Golf MK4 carrier instead of Fabia's. Waithing for new problems
