Default My Golf Mk4 R32 in Moonlight Blue

Herrrro!

Thought it was about time i signed up on here as im a regular browser

Picked up my R32 just over a year ago from Weymouth (United Kingdom) which was about an 8 hour drive from where i live in North Yorkshire.

It came almost standard apart from the previous owner fitting a Milltek cat-back system and AutoTech induction kit aswell as H+R 20mm lowering springs and 20mm rear wheel spacers, and half leather Konig seats fitted. Oh and rear tie arms, EBC dimpled and grooved discs, baffled sump and de-locked and smoothed door handles.

Hmm guess it aint that standard lol

oh and its in Moonlight Blue, think only 57 were produced in this colour in the UK.

Heres how she looked the day after i got her...

Had quite a few people telling me how nice the car sounds but when your driving it you don't really hear it properly so got a GoPro HD camera and mounted it on the boot lid to make this video, doesn't sound too bad!

Decided to do a bit of colour matching in the engine bay, so sprayed the engine cover and battery box in Moonlight Blue

and got some caps from JCaps as i can't stand the plastic ones

and some lovely .:R strut cap covers

so engine bay now looks like this...

couple of photos from an underground photoshoot

decided to do a bit of DIY to remove the awful hanging section on the rear bumper that covers the backbox, this thing...

so...

after

how it looks now

was getting a little bit bored of the aristo wheels as my car wasn't getting any attention at shows so decided to save up and patiently wait for some alloys to come up that i had wanted since owning my Golf GTI (before the R32).

so last week i finally got some...

Genuine BBS LMs 19x8.5" with Falken 215/35ZRs

Cost me a fair whack so can't really afford air at the moment so shes sitting quite high lol

Photos with new wheels fitted...

Here are some recent photos (March-May 2012) from recent meets etc

Whitby Cruise Pics

Currently saving up for air ride *gulp*

hope you guys like it, and if not please be gentle!!
