In the Netherlands you see trucks once in a while. Due to new tax regulation most people sold them (we have special plates and tax rates for company cars). There was this "hole in the fishnet" that made it legall for everybody to buy a company car.
Since you could drive them with low taxes rates it was cheaper even if you would drive a big pick-up truck. So people had to get rid of their big trucks...
