hello all new to this form but recently got back into vw's after 20 years and i cant stop 5 have followed me home in the last year. my thought is that my 56 bug is to be a daily driver, I'm also trying to keep cost's down is the 58 to 65 front axle ass.a bolt in to the earlier 57> back front end holder/pan? I'm finding lots of parts for the 58-67 era bugs but the older stuff seems to be under the bug resto gods watchful eyes and gets pricey if you can find it at all ,im looking for an easy to repair driver not a retoration or a show car all so the slightly bigger brakes are welcome too and while im asking how about the trans is that a easy to bolt in change or do mounts need to be changed thank for any help Gary
