The Jetta has been the best selling European car in the US market for more than 15 years, so VW of America doesnt want to change the name. In Europe, however, the Jetta sold poorly, so VW changed the name to try to give the model new life. The Vento didnt work right, so the Bora came along. Who knows, this car may not even be called Bora in Europe! Maye there's a new name yet again? |
