Default Golf mk1 GTI Turbo

Hi there!
Here I am at my 3rd mk1

This one is a track/hill-climb car only, even if it has its regular plate, cannot be used on pubblic roads.

1982 GTI, was originally Inari green, has been deeply modified by the old owner, that used it only a couple of times, than decide to sell it

It mounts a mk3 2.0 8V combined with a Garrett turbo, Marelli ignition (coming from a Lancia Delta), shorted gear box, reinforced clutch and Quaife torsen differenzial.
Very fast and great torque also at low rpms
It rolled 260hp at 1bar.
Inside I have two racing seats, with OMP 4 points belts, elettric power steering, hydraulic hand brakes, manual brake balance, total extinguishing system, full roll-bar, aluminum interior finishes and other minor things...


The project for next year is to mount an ABF 16V engine together with a G60 supercharger, estimated with 320hp at 1.4bar
