Default Rin Diesel - Netherlands

Hey guys,

Due to the fact that my best pal/housemate joined this forum (Magnetron), I figured I'd join as well since I havent been on a forum in a long time.

My previous car has a long history and its own wonderful story, filled with heartache, adventures and raging boners:

-Owned for 6 years and 29 days
-Driven over 160,000km's
-Consumed over 11,428 liters/17,142 euro of fuel
-Seen England,France,Holland,Germany,Belgium,Luxembourg
-Been parked outside of 4 places of residence
-Its survived 2 girlfriends (and 2 break ups!)
-4 different race tracks (Zandvoort, Assen, Zolder, Nurburgring)
-4 sets of brake disks (the first 3 kept on cracking due to heat and pressure)
-3 different engines
-2 complete rewirings of the motor to ECU
-1 clutch
-1 2nd place trophy from RSZ Zolder License Weekend
-1 FIA EU Racing License received

After ALL that, I have moved on to something bigger, better and thirstier:

My Supercharged R32 Race/Street Car.

Needless to say, I'm still in love with her after 2+ years of ownership.

The car is used as a daily and as my race car in the DNRT (Dutch National Racing Team) and puts out about 300hp and 400nm of torque.

I am one of the youngest people competing in the sports class in the DNRT, one of the only people who are doing it without sponsorship (so, paying it all out of my own pocket) and I believe the only person doing it with a daily driven 'road car'.

The car is 100% street legal, with Catalytic Converters and RDW paperwork included.

The car itself began as a regular 1999 Golf 4, TDI..but my friend (and previous owner) Ruud transformed it from this:

Welded in an R32 Chassis and Motor:

To this:

Technichal highlights:

Engine
3.2L 24v Motor
Vortech v9 Supercharger
Intercooled
EIP exhaust
TVS Engineering Programmed ECU
7200 RPM Redline (in all gears)

Adjustable camber plates, front

Other:

The car itself is wonderful to drive and is very user-friendly (see video below or Click Here ...oversteer is easy to handle at 4:36 for example)

Hope to have a good time here with you guys and who knows: Maybe see some of you out there in the wild we know as NL
