My MK2....only one in South Africa

Managed to get my hands on a MK2 polo....seems like its the only 1 here in South Africa....

I was planning on changing the motor but cant seem to find 1 that will fit the engine bay besides the original 1.....was thinkin aba or abf...doesnt look like its gonna fit

Has any1 done any engine swops ??? Lemme know...I need help...

Pic below is edited in photoshop...i fitted the wheels and wanted to see what lowering the car would look like....but think i'll take the 17's off and fit a set of widened steelies or maybe a set of 15's...

had the car resprayed but think im gonna have it redone including flaring fenders....stay tuned for more...

Any other help would be greatly appreciated....
Info on brakes, engine, etc...

Thanks

there are subframes for sale to fit a big block vw-engine, but they're not cheap, and the heavy engine doesn't improve handling.
There was one for sale here though:
