Downtime due to fire
 

Due to a shortcircuit leading to an explosion and large fire at out provider, 9000 servers lost power, including ours.
Luckily none of the servers were comprimised by the fire, so there's no dataloss.
Out provider is working round the clock with help from suppliers to get things up again.

there are always backups, but reconfiguring new servers would have cost a lot of more downtime

i already started to have Cold-turkey-like symptoms :D

Hey I think there was a database corruption error.
I was an administrator prior to the fire
