VeeDubber 23-07-2011 17:48

looks like a VW-nut's heaven :D
Impressive. You sell parts as a job or is this all hobby?

tuner4vag 23-07-2011 22:03

it's my job , we import spare parts from Germany directly from AUDI and VW and we are probably one of the 5 bigger and more complet parts stores in Greece.
if anyone needs parts from 2005 model V.A.G.s and above feel free to ask.
i dont usualy sell parts outside of the country but with the crisis here i consider creating an ebay store.

Can you give us an indication of the prices?
For instance what price do you ask for a haldex? Or a R32 engine?

tuner4vag 16-05-2012 22:21

hello guys i missed you all.

anyway time for updates for the work its been done in the past few months.

the rear axle needed to be chopped to clear the haldex

will give more updates soon

2fast4you 16-05-2012 22:34

if i place the diff under the axle it sits too low and the propshaft and axleshafts dont allign properly. if you want to see a finished project with the same job on the rear axle check this guys site they are very good at this kind of jobs.

Here is mine:

and I don't see anything wrong ;)

tuner4vag 20-05-2012 20:27

I hope everything works fine in both our rallyes when they hit the road. It is my first old model car restoration/transformation project and i hope i have taken the right path. I usualy make original models upgrades like (audi A4 into RS4,Golf 1.4 into GTI, A3 into S3 etc.) so i am used to bolt on work.

Well in that case this will be a whole new experience for you

tuner4vag 29-05-2012 21:07

i received the parts from the CNC to make the box that will receive the haldex diff

hope i mesured it all correct so the assembly will be easy

this is what the box will look like when the parts are welded together

after the welding job is done we have to make the holes and the threads to receive the diff

2fast4you 02-06-2012 23:04

I think you should reconsider what you are doing ;)
Here is a picture how the Haldex sits on my Rallye  and you lifting it up... I think you will have problems with the propshaft

tuner4vag 20-06-2012 20:42

the mesuerements i took from the synchro diff before i cut everythink down are exactly as the haldex so if i use a prop with the same size as the original rallye item i shouldn't have a problem . anyway we shall see .

De Pul 26-09-2012 21:41

any updates?
