Nice engine for in a mk1. :D

maniacmark 08-08-2007 19:51

damn, why don't they sell these trucks here in Europe
The looks are good, and the enginering seems te be perfect too
So what is stopped these things to be shipped?

Tjaap 08-08-2007 20:01

VW's partial ownership of Scania and MAN, although Phaeton told me that they would come on sale in eastern europe

maniacmark 08-08-2007 20:19

The partial ownership in MAN was known to me, but that they also have stocks in Scania is new to me. I thught Scania was partial SAAB and because SAAB ainĂ½ VAG I didn't thought of it.
But it explains al lot.....

Tjaap 08-08-2007 20:25

23% actually... quite big..

phaeton 08-08-2007 23:36

VWAG has Shares in following Truck Companies

29.9% in MAN AG & 20.3% share & 35.31% voting rights in Scania.

maniacmark - when your thinking of SAAB owning Scania your actually sort of correct.
AB Investor's are still the 2nd biggest shareholders in Scania they use to own a majority share in both companies ;)
