Hi there...!

Just a question about camber on my Golf Cabrio MK1 1.6EG 1982.
Which is the max front negative value you suggest?

My problem is that with ATS CUP 7x15 ET20 the front wheels are too much out of the fender, so I would like to decrease chamber till possible without affect handling...

I would advise you not to mess with the front camber too much. A bit more negative camber might increase handling in corners a little bit, a (motorsport) wheel/tire specialist should be able to adjust the camper to a more sporty set up. Looking at het picture i doubt that will fix your problem though. What size tires are you running? You might be better off changing your (front) tires to a size that fits better.

Currently I'm using 195/50R15 and it's the only possibility: here in Italy there are absurd laws about tyre size, you can only run what is reported on the veicle registration and there are no possibility to ask for modifications... :(

My current camber is this one (yellow circles), with little difference between right and left side, so the average is -0.5°
I've heard that is possible to arrive at -1.5°, but I know that driving straight could be not so comfortable as now and tyre wear will be also compromised...

I think you're much better off trying to find ATS with a better ET.

Yes, I agree, I'm looking for some ET28 (hoping that is enough), but two sellers (one Italian and one French) told me that ATS is not going to procude them anymore...
One seller in Italy have them in stock, but he is asking 220€ per rim...!!
That's too much!

Not easy to find some second hand ATS in good shape thought.

I was thinking to change only front wheels, so front ET28 and rear ET20.

These rims are ET25, I didn't know they exist with this offset, I thought only ET28 and ET20...
Probably 5mm are not enough for me thought.
