hope to see this one being finished.. love the two-door long rear window style

Area51 16-06-2009 13:10

Very Cool !!

Now go on and find yourself a decent JettaII bodyshell, some GolfII bodypanels, buy a Cerbora and start building

Idea from a old Opel Kadett?

Tjaap 16-06-2009 14:54

even the E-Kadett's were available as 2-doors.. but so were the VW Foxes

maartenunplukt 16-06-2009 15:11

i'd rather saw it as a 4 door. But still this might get cool; would love to see a cabby body kit around it

martiepartie 16-06-2009 15:38

2 door with panels *panelvan* is a real cool idea!.

The 4door jetta wagon does not realy turn me on, the long windows on the 2door version kinda looks like a polo steilheck :) which I obviously like. :D

maartenunplukt 16-06-2009 16:35

The thing for me is that the long window doenst make it look like a station but like a weird stretched hatchback, I know there have been 2 doored station wagons, but I dont like them, the dimensions are just out of synch.

Tjaap 17-06-2009 00:33

i agree that it kinda needs an extra window... maybe devide the rear one into two windows like the Kadett has.

It could be that he is on VF also, i'm not sure.

Here's a guy called Jettaseller who sells only Jetta Mk1 parts/cars.
He also lives right across the border with Holland. Maybe the same person ??
